[Sora bursts out in embarrassed laughter and shakes his head quickly.]

No! No, it's nothing like that! [He doesn't think he'll ever see a wedding of his own. He's okay with that. He's come to terms with that.]

I was gonna say you must be pretty happy that Mamoru is back.

I am. I really am. It's one of the best early birthday gifts I could have asked for.

Our three year is next month, you know that, right?

Saa, it's fine it's fine. I mean, I become... am... I don't even know honestly, but I'm immortal so what does it much matter?

Immortal? Does that have to do with you becoming queen? I guess maybe age really doesn't matter...

Hmm? Oh, no, it has nothing to do with my being queen, I'm immortal because of my crystal. Every senshi is. Even if my body is destroyed, so long as the silver crystal is intact, I can be reborn with all my memories, and then ya know, I'm actually immortal immortal too.

My becoming queen is... a different thing. Though, I don't know what's going to happen if I reach 22 here.

Well, if my future is to be believed, I stop being human and go back to being a full Lunarian. Chibiusa is half Lunarian and half human, not... ya know, 1/3 Lunarian and 2/3rds human. [Usagi is not SO bad at math she can't do the most basic of fractions.]

Uhhh... So you're going to turn into a full Lunarian... Is that gonna change a lot about you?

I... dunno, I think that's why I'm scared.

I don't think it will change me, but I don't know what to expect. When I reawoke as Serenity I lost several grams and my hair grew so long that I didn't know what to do.

Oh. Well, on the plus side I know someone that can really help you with even longer hair if that's what you're worried about.

... Honestly, Usagi. I'm sure you'll be okay. You'll be a queen someday and maybe that means something more by being lunarian but you'll always still be you.

You know why I think you'll be a good queen, Usagi? I know you'll be a good queen because you've told me of all the times you put other people before yourself. How many times you've let yourself stand in the way of danger to make sure that everyone else is safe.

[All those stories of Usagi snapping in half, giving herself up for others... He remembers them all. They are alike, remember?]

I know you'll be a good queen because you care enough to make hard decisions that other people might not be able to make. You do what it takes no matter what it costs. You protect people with everything you got.

[There's a flicker of love that makes the connection warm and soft.]

You love. And everyone who sees you smile can feel it. All the other political mumbo jumbo that comes with being a queen? Well... You got friends to help you with that. Mamoru too.

[She takes a deep breath; appreciation and love coming over the amulet with gratitude close behind. She lets out the shaky breath and smiles.]

You're definitely making me feel better, you're always so good at that. One of the best things, you definitely got me beat in that, you know? You can make anyone smile. You definitely always make me smile.

Mamoru is smart, you know that? He's absolutely brilliant and puts people at ease almost instantly.
