[It's a few days, really, before Rei works up the courage to bring the question to Usagi. She's not afraid, but she's worried, bothered, and fretting just a bit too much. So, late one evening after returning from a walk Rei knocks on Usagi's door.]

Usagi, can I come in?

[Usagi's room is finally starting to look like something she would live in, bunny and cat plushes are sitting on soft purple bed covers. Her room is tidy though not necessarily clean, probably more cluttered than what Rei would like. She is sitting at her desk and has all sorts of papers in front of her since she made the announcement about the festival and is trying to organize everything she got done with Pepper. She looks up and smiles when she hears Rei's voice, bouncing over to the door and smiling wide.]

Rei-chan! Of course come in, I'm just working on festival plans.

I'll be in Shaarnath for a week with Riku and Roxas for vacation! Then when I get back I'm going on an exploration venture under the island with my friends Kor and Caius for another whole week!

I just wanted to make sure you knew, since I'll be gone for a while!

If you or the girls want any souvenirs from Shaarnath, let me know okay?

In one hand is a pink notepad and in the other, a pen that's large enough to fit comfortably in tiny hands. ]

If people are going to bring us gifts for the party, we need to thank them! [ Even if they are gifts, it's the right thing to do. ] So we should take down their name and what they gave us, so after the party we can send a card expressing our gratitude.

[Usagi looks up from her writing, setting her teacup down as she turns to look at her daughter. When she hears her idea she grins.]

[It's been entirely too long now, and Rei's getting a little fed up with it. she can feel Usagi's emotions more keenly than anyone else, and she's always known when something was up. And something is up.

[Usagi looked up from her position in her bed, her giant stuffed rabbit and Luna-plush that Sora had custom-made for her held tight in her arms. She sat up and grabbed a tissue, wiping at her eyes and frowning at how red they were. Crud, she hoped she could just play it off as waking up and being drowsy. She set her animals down and opened the door.

It was Rei.

Nope, probably no playing this off.]

Ah... R-Rei-chan what's up? Did you need something? I was just in bed.

[Lying in front of Usagi's front door is a nicely gift wrapped bag of chocolates in the shape of bunny heads. There were a bunch and all for Usagi to partake on. Isn't she lucky?

Except not really, because one she takes a bite she's going to want to spit them out because this chocolate tastes terrible. It's salty and disgusting and only pleasing to the eyes. Attached to the gift is a note. ]

To my dearest Princess on a day like today

I would like to share with you just how much I appreciate the love you have and the love I share for you. Just one bite and you will realize my feelings are eternal. [Rei has been mulling over how best to approach this situation, and with Valentine's out of the way, it seems like the time to do it. She makes it a point to wait until Usagi's downstairs alone, sitting with the dog on the couch and doing...whatever it is Usagi does in a world with no TV.

Sitting next to her, she opens with what she hopes is a little less ominous sounding than it feels in her head]

Usagi, there's something I think I need to talk to you about.

[In a world with no TV and no video games, Usagi has taken up a fondness for doodling, since manga is ALSO not a thing in this world because short of food, all of Usagi's hobbies don't exist in this place. She's got Orion on her lap with a notepad and she's just drawing whatever idle thing comes to her mind, she's crossed out more than a few or written "ick" next to them with sad faces. So when Rei sits next to her, she looks up and blinks, offering a smile.]

Oh ah, of course, Rei-chan! [She wondered what it might be about. Minnie's wyrven, maybe? Was she worried about her own? Did she want to talk about her relationship with Minako? While she doubted Rei would ever be so open about such a thing with her or with anyone not named "Minako Aino" she was more than willing to listen to whatever her best friend might want to talk about.] What's up?
