[Usagi will find herself in a large expansive room, with gray being the only color accenting the walls and floors. It's a very sterile environment, but there's some light and color coming from the stars shining brightly through the large viewports. It's quite a view, especially since a large star destroyer can be seen flying away in the distance.
The only other person that seems to be in this room is a small kid with bright red hair, who turns slightly to look at her with a scrunched look.]
[She goes over to the window and gives a small gasp. No matter how many times she went into space it was always so pretty. She turns and sees the child and stops, looking down at her clothes. What was wrong with her clothes?
She offered him a smile.]
Ah, sorry sorry, something must have happened to them.
[If possible, the child's face scrunches even more, somehow managing to look judgmental even at this age.]
That's not an excuse. You're going to get in trouble if you don't put your uniform on.
[As if to emphasize his point, he strengthens his uniform and tries to look as orderly as possible.] Not to mention, you're setting a poor example to others.
[Hux huffs and folds his small arms, as if he's not impressed by the notion of 'magic.' For one thing, that just looks like a pen! But... there's also some curiosity in his eyes and it's probably obvious due to the fact that he's really focusing on the pen.]
No such thing exists. Magic only exists to people who are too simpleminded to understand technology. [Unless she's going to use the Force, which is even worse in his eyes.]
Believing is seeing. [She flipped the pen in the air.] Transform into a uniformed officer of this ship! [She assumed it was a ship, right? They were in space so it had to be a ship... hopefully. But no sooner did she catch the pen, then she was wrapped up in bright pink ribbons and she was suddenly dressed a ranking military member of the First Order. She gave a salute.]
[The small boy gaps as Usagi suddenly transforms right before his eyes. He doesn't understand how bright pink ribbons can lead to a sharply dressed officer of the First Order, but he cannot deny what's in front of him.]
H-how did you do that?! [He's kinda in awe, honestly.] You didn't even have to put that uniform on...
I told you! Magic. [She lightly poked him in the head.] You shouldn't doubt people just because something seems impossible. There are all sorts of impossible things in this universe.
[Hux rubs his forehead before scowling up at her, folding his arms while trying to look scary. But coming from a small and thin child, he just looks like he's pouting.]
It's so unordered though, these impossible magics! I'm going to make sure that the galaxy is under my firm control, even if I have to blow up a planet!
They'll have less power to fight back! The enemy will be weak after a blow like that!
[Small, dream child Hux doesn't have a sophisticated vocabulary at all.]
Which means that we can end the war far more quickly and get started on making the galaxy all ordered! We'll fix the chaos that destroying a planet would cause, I'll make certain of that!
You'll have killed trillions of innocent people, and by such an act of violence, you'll only encourage more and more people to hate you and fight back.
You can't fix that chaos, you caused it, no one will ever see you as someone of order, only someone of hatred and someone who is afraid.
[He frowns, but for once, Hux doesn't simply brush aside her words. He thought that a First Order officer, even one that has 'magic,' would agree with his actions.]
Then... how would you establish order in the galaxy? You should know how weak the New Republic is, letting various terrorists invade multiple planets because the senate is too busy arguing against each other to do anything.
Look at it this way, let's say you were having your favorite dinner after a long and tiring day, and someone came along, snatched the plate from you and slammed your plate and food onto the floor, smashing the plate, and threw your glass against the wall, destroying it and letting glass shards be everywhere. But then they said, "don't worry, I'm going to make it better now." Would you believe them? Would you want to eat anything they made you? Or trust them to clean up every glass shard they caused?
You make things better by offering help, to improve things where you can. The New Republic is what you just said, it's new, so it needs help! Support good ideas! Help find funding for things that would improve society as a whole! Just because something is new doesn't mean it's not a good idea. It just needs to figure itself out and that takes time and patience and willingness to trust. If the Senators are arguing, figure out what they're arguing about and try to find the best solution, sometimes people need outside opinions. But you don't go destroying things. That's like getting a new puppy with some fleas and going "oh that's no good," and killing the dog instead to get rid of those fleas. That's how extreme destroying a planet is.
[Hux isn't entirely sold on that example, his eyebrows furrowing as if he's trying to wrap his mind around the comparison. It's different comparing dinner to establishing order in the galaxy!
At least it's easier to talk about how much he hates the New Republic, that's something very familiar to him.]
The New Republic is the enemy, as a First Order officer, you should know that. You can't help a government that's corrupt to its very core, that's why such extreme measures must be taken.
[He looks at her with an odd expression, almost wary, but he's not completely distrustful yet.]
...You're the first person to even suggest something like that. [She's not a traitor, is she??]
The New Republic only exists because a group of terrorists overthrew the Empire. I can admit that the Empire had its faults, but it was gradually establishing order in the galaxy through a strict military force until its downfall.
[It had done far more in the first few years than the New Republic in comparison!]
Why am I explaining this to you? As a First Order officer, you should know all this! O-or are you a traitor? [He squints up at her, suddenly very suspicious about this person.]
I'm not a traitor. I'm a planet guardian. [Because why not run with it, she supposes.] I'm on neither side at the moment. [Though she was inclined to go with the group who DIDN'T think destroying a planet was the way to do things.]
[A what?? Planet guardian?? He's not certain how she became one, but it's obvious to him now that she's not really a First Order officer. As any good soldier, he should report her or shoot her...
But Hux does neither of those things as he looks at her with a childlike curiosity. Fitting, given his current age.]
No, but I can guess what you do. You guard planets.
[Hux frowns, why would such a thing matter to him? It's not like he really knows this person and she's not really of the First Order, but for whatever reason, he doesn't look happy by the thought of this.]
...Fine, I'll try to think of something else. [He grumbles and stares out the window, thinking that he's being mature about this.]
Mnn, hate? No, but I would have to punish them. [She smiled, not one to really hate anyone outside a select few. But she was glad to see that Hux would be willing to try something else.]
Thank you for thinking of something else. Don't break your promise, though. [She held out her pinkie.]
[He doesn't want to be punished. It'll probably be painful... he'd almost prefer the hate in that case.]
Promises are just words, people break them all the time. [Hux thinks he's being so adult-like saying this!! Also he doesn't seem to quite understand the whole pinkie promise thing.]
Then it takes a great person to keep a promise once they make it because nothing is keeping them to their word beyond themselves. It's the ultimate sign of control and honor.
Are you a man of honor and control? Or does breaking a promise mean nothing to you?
[He... he never thought of promises like that before. Hux is having difficulty refuting this, what can he say against her?! Does that mean she's right? Harumph.]
Of course I am!! [Honor isn't a huge thing to him, control on the other hand...] Fine, I promise that I'll at least try and think of a different solution than destroying planets.
misfire; dreamshare

Dream Sharing
She offered him a smile.]

She tilted her head. Example to others, who was she setting an example for? Still, she pulled her moon disguise pen out of her pocket.]
Well, guess it's a good thing I know a little magic. [She winked.] Wanna see?

Why would you want to kill an entire planet anyways?
