[Usagi moved to wrap her arms around the taller girl and while it was REALLY tempting to try the food, Makoto was also clearly... uh... not entirely herself.]

Ah- is that so! Well, let's get you home and you can get me some later.

Home, already? But we should take a look around. They have a bunch of new stuff out.

[She had planned to go on a shopping spree and look around and have some fun with Usagi on the boardwalk. Makoto did remember something so if they did go home there was still something they could do, that would still be sweet.]

Oh though when we go home I can try to bake some for you, I made them give me the recipe.

[somehow.]

Ah well... I just mean... [She DID want to shop, but Makoto needed to get home.] We can come back tomorrow! It's getting late, yeah?

That's very nice of them, and I have no doubt you'd be able to make it! Mako-chan is amazing.

Is it? I didn't realize, I must have lost track of time.

[Makoto took a moment to look up, but it didn't really click with her, and she had no clue what time it was or how late it was in truth. But she trust Usagi and stuck with her, going along with the plan to return the next day.]

[Honestly, it's not THAT late, and certainly not for THEM considering the senshi tended to do most of their shenanigans at all hours of the night. But if it was going to get an inebriated Makoto home? Then Usagi didn't mind the tiny fib.

She wrapped her arm around Makoto's waist, more than willing to transform and carry Makoto home if she needed to.]

Tomorrow! Absolutely! [Maybe.] I'll look at aaaalll the things Mako-chan found since she has such gorgeous taste!

Ah but what about dinner, you and Sushi-kun haven't had anything yet.

[Even with her arms wrapped around Usagi she was worried about feeding those she cared about. If she didn't cook then what would they eat, were there still leftovers, or something simply they'd be able to make. Wow, why was her head spinning so.]

I saw a charm that would be perfect for Usa-chan, super cute and really colorful.

I can cook I can cook! [She had learned at least a few recipes back in Deerington and she knew how to make rice even before that.] Besides, Mako-chan always does the cooking, she should get a break, yeah?

[Oh no, that was so tempting... No! No no no!]

I bet Usa-chan would really cute in an apron! Ah, but mine would probably be too long for you, we could tie it up a bit.

[Makoto was willing to at least let Usagi try just of the chance to see her in an apron. It would really be something she'd want to see now.]

We all need a break.

[Look, Usagi is... somewhat compliment starved. For as much as she gives them, it's been awhile since someone has called her cute or pretty to her face. She blushes and presses her hands to her warming cheeks.

It figures Makoto would have to be drunk for her to hear that but she smiles and waves a hand.] Well, I'll wear anything cute, you know me.

We do, which is why I'm going to cook for you!

Everything Usa-chan wears is cute, because Usa-chan is cute.

[No way, Makoto thought Usagi looked cute all the time.]

Alright but that means I get to make something super special as a thank you tomorrow. Oh we could have a picnic! We still have the baskets from the last one and a blanket.

[Usagi blushed a deeper red but couldn't help the smile. It was nice to be called cute. And Makoto was Makoto so Usagi didn't see any reason to argue with her. She tended to never argue with the girls, at least not where compliments were concerned.]

A picnic sounds awesome! [She pumped her fist in the air as she took Makoto's hand, beginning to guide her home.]

We'll invite Mina-chan and Rei-chan and Sushi-kun!

I'll make all of your favorites, and we'll get to catch up. But if they're all going to be there tomorrow we'll have to do something special too. Just the two of us.

[Because sometimes it was nice just to do things with just one person rather than in a group.]

We can go shopping afterward, or take a walk on the beach and watch the moon.

[Uwaaaaah it sounded sooooo niceeeee. She wanted to do that so badly. Usagi can't resist, even though Makoto is drunk.]

Yes, just the two of us! Absolutely just something you and me! [Makoto time is so wonderful, how can she resist.

Buuut, Usagi does know she has to get a certain auburn-haired goddess home.]

But... not tonight, we should go home right now. We can snuggle on the couch if you want?

[It did sound nice, and normally Makoto would have just talked about it in general. But with her current state the lack of inhibitions made it easier for her to be more direct.]

Good. We don't get to do enough with just us.

[At the idea of the couch Makoto cheered a little, wrapping an arm around Usagi.]

That sounds amazing. I was a bit chilly.

Then I'll warm Mako-chan up, I'm pretty good at cuddling. [So much so she changed her username to Cuddlebunny.] I'll cuddle you all night, Mako-chan!

That's because you like to stay in bed and keep warm all the time. But you are the best at it, and there's nothing more comforting than Usa-cuddles. [Makoto had kind of enjoyed the period when Usagi had been coming in and sharing a bed to get rid of the headaches along with Atsushi, the three of them all curled up together. Even if it had been a little warm.]

[She blushed and then grinned as she began taking Makoto home, going slow so that Makoto wouldn't stumble or fall in her state.]

Then Mako-chan can have as many cuddles as she wants from me! I'll never deny Mako-chan cuddles.
