[ At least Ange thinks it has nothing to do with Usagi's birthday being cursed, as much as it probably has to do with.. well, pretty much bad stuff happening all the time in Deerington. Even here during Ruby's birthday party she knows she's going to need to keep a lookout for ghosts.. It's such a pain.

But hopefully Usagi will be able to have a reasonable birthday party here too when her birthday rolls around - Usagi deserves as much, Ange thinks.

It leaves her lost in thought for a few moments, but then she finally texts back. ]

That's a coincidence. My birthday is in June too. June 17th. Last time Ruby and I just celebrated it with the two of us, since a lot of people already went into the ocean or back home at that point.

[ For good reasons, because if Usagi is an extrovert Ange can barely handle, Minako is way over that level. ]

She seems to think about love a lot. [ Can you tell she's going out of her way to try and find something positive to say. Because she doesn't want to say anything mean when Usagi is so close to Minako. ]

She's the Goddess of Love and Beauty, that's her job!

Okay, for the record, is she a literal goddess? Or is this more of a figurative thing?

I can never tell for sure, considering the worlds people come from.

[Minako WAS a goddess, Venus, in fact, goddess of Love and Beauty. Buuuut she also didn't want to reveal that about Minako for her.]

I don't know. Usually I would have said she doesn't seem like one, but the witches in my world were at the same level as gods, and they didn't exactly act like it.

[ Aka: they were just as ridiculous.

Ange is still being diplomatic as heck by not using that word. ]

So she might as well be one, I guess. Nothing is impossible in this place. It's not like you aren't super strong as well.

[ So maybe all of Usagi's friends from her world are just like that. ]

Oh, witches from my world are nowhere close to the goddesses back home. They WISH they were, but nowhere close.

But me? Hah, I don't know about being super strong.

We're just lucky that you're a nice enough person to only do good with what you can do.

Ange blinks for a moment as she receives this message. What is it even about? Did Usagi.. somehow get amnesia about her powers? Is this a test?

What is it? Ange is so puzzled, but she does end up responding honestly, rather than calling the other out on the weird text - because she just likes Usagi that much. Enough to not be a total brat. ]

Didn't you deal with powerful people all the time back home? Protecting the planet? You can't do that with just some weak powers.

Ange-chan, did I ever happen to mention I was Sailor Moon? Does that name mean anything you, by chance?

[ Honestly, Ange's memories from Deerington tend to still be the slightest bit fuzzy on some fronts - though she doesn't know if it's a side effect of the entire squid thing, or maybe just because it's been so long since they might have talked about this.

She had been in Deerington for a rather long while, after all. ]

Is that your title back home? [ Maybe it'll come back to her. ]

It's one of them, yeah. But, please don't go spreading that around? If someone from home shows up who... uh, I've fought before, they don't usually know Sailor Moon and Usagi Tsukino are two different people.
