[He lets out a soft little heh, shuffling awkwardly.]

Not really. I have been trying, but I can't get to sleep and I just end up waking him up. I don't want him to lose out on sleep, too. That's not fair.

[And yet he messaged her at god-awful-o'clock with nonsense. He nods.]

Yeah, Luca! He's... well, he wasn't a Sleeper originally, he wasn't in Deerington, but this place brought him here anyway. He's a great guy. Saved me from drowning.

[Moon prejudices or not, Varian is exhausted. He'd take anything to get forty winks at this point. Absolutely anything.]

I'm willing. I mean- it's worth a shot, right? Even if I only get a nap from it, I'll take it.

[Sailor Moon sighs gently.] Believe me, I get it.

[Usagi is constantly out patrolling because the alternative is just... laying in her bed, tossing and turning and not sleeping. Maybe she should see if she can buy some craft supplies or something.]

You'll have to introduce us... when I'm not in this form.

[Sailor Moon could be... intense for some people.]

Alright, let's give it a try. Go sit on the bed in case this is an instant effect.

[He's been working in his lab a lot, which is nothing new for him, but even Varian is aware once things start to get a little fuzzy in your peripheral vision from lack of sleep, it's probably a good idea to put the test tubes full of dangerous chemicals down. ]

Sure thing, you'll like him and I'm pretty sure he'd like you.

[Because it's Varian's opinion that it's impossible to not like Usagi. He does as he's asked, moving to sit on the edge of the bed- so he can just flop back if needs be.]

[She doesn't respond regarding the Luca matter, there are very few people Usagi has ever met that she didn't like. Creeped out by, many, but few she didn't like. But that was not important.

She summoned her Tiare, the familiar weight coming into her hand, and gathered her magic. Unlike in Deerington, the magic came with ease, ready to be used and filling her to the brim. She had absolutely no doubt she could do this for Varian. There was no... shadow over her magic like there had been in Deerington, no taint.

Sailor Moon gathered her powers and gently pressed her Tiare to Varian's brow, gently pressing her powers into him.]

gonna go for a solid middle option!

[Varian doesn't make a good job of relaxing right away. The kid's always going to be a little tense around magic- even with people he trusts completely and implicitly like Usagi. He closes his eyes, letting out a slow breath- the sense of the powers is...different, and a small part of his brain kicks up the need to fight it. Perhaps if he wasn't so exhausted, he'd actually have put up a fight- but he doesn't.

Instead, he just kind of...flops down onto his back, his eyes drifting closed as he does, finally drop off to sleep. It won't last, he'll get maybe a few hours- but that's better than what he has been getting. Sailor Moon saves the day. ]

[She smiles as he drops off to sleep, she crouches down and removes his shoe and gently removes his prosthetic as well before shifting him more onto the bed. She leans his prosthetic next to the bed. Next, come his goggles and gloves, which she places on the nightstand. At least he wasn't wearing his apron.

She doubts he would appreciate any further undressing and leaves it at that. Then, Sailor Moon pulls the covers up and over him to his chin, making sure he was still asleep before pressing a kiss to his brow.]

Sweet dreams, dear boy.

[While she cannot use her magic the same way on herself, she can at least do some good for those she loves.

With all that done, she moves to the window and levitates just outside of it before shifting her wings from decorative to real and flying off into the night under the Moon Presence's full gaze.]
