Canon Character Relationships




Chibiusa Tsukino (Small Lady)
Her future daughter. Usagi loves Chibiusa deeply and dearly. Usagi will do everything she can to protect Chibiusa and guide her into becoming a strong Sailor Senshi. While Chibiusa is her daughter, they act more like squabbling siblings, but make no mistake, Usagi will go to hell and back for her.

Haruka Tenou
Her goddess of the wind and sky. Haruka is one of her fiercest protectors. She also has a standing crush on Haruka, but can you blame her? Usagi adores Haruka, wanting to be close with the older girl as much as possible. Usagi knows that she can rely on Haruka for anything and more importantly, that she can go to Haruka for all sorts of cuddles.

Helios
The priest of Elysion, Helios is dear to Usagi and she will protect him as best she can. She wouldn't exactly call them friends, though she endeavors to fix that since he has done so much for her, Mamoru, Chibiusa, and the Earth. She wants to make sure he gets a chance to experience more of life in Empatheias, having been away in Elysion until now.

Mamoru Chiba
Her prince. Her true love. The man who has the other half of her heart. Mamoru is her true love and, if asked, her better half. He's smart, gentle, handsome, and his kisses divine. Mamoru is someone Usagi adores and loves with every inch of her heart, mind, and body. She knows she can depend on Mamoru for anything, able to talk to him about everything.

Michiru Kaiou
Her goddess of the ocean and seas. Usagi always has been and always will be drawn to Michiru. Her music draws her in like no other kind of music can. Michiru offers her a sense of calm all while being elegant and beautiful in everything she does. Michiru has always had a way to speak to Usagi that has eased her, and Usagi has always loved her for it.

Minako Aino
Her goddess of love and beauty, light, and metal. One of her best friends. Minako is the one Usagi can turn to about anything and everything no matter what and knows she'll receive a listening ear. She trusts Minako implicitly and will listen to her command and orders most of the time as the leader of her guard. Minako and she share a lot of the same hobbies.

Adrien Agreste (Chat Noir)
Adrien/Chat does not actually remember Usagi or that he used to work for her. Regardless, they have reunited and rekindled their friendship.

Aqua
Aqua is a cool, sweet, and amazingly talented woman. She can fight and she's gorgeous! Usagi is really glad she got to know and befriend the bluenette. She helps Aqua with relationship advice where she can. She is also helping Aqua (at Ventus' request) dealing with her own darkness and learning to accept help from others since Aqua's had to be alone for so long.

Arden (Riku Replica)
Arden is Riku's replica but Usagi doesn't really acknowledge that beyond how they look. She understands that he has a lot to work through both emotionally and mentally, but she has happily offered her support and hand. She helps Arden as much as she can, especially if it comes to love. Arden doesn't know she gave Sora a keychain. Although, with Arden dating Namine, she has simultaneously taken on a big sister role and a mother "hurt her and prepare to be punished" role. Still, she does her best to be there for him.

Armitage Hux
There are individuals who reeaaaallly push and test the "love all" aspect of Usagi's personality and Hux is by far the one who pushes it the most. Hux has sworn to make Usagi hate him and has already threatened to kill her. Despite his best efforts, though, he's likely going to lose, unaware it's Galaxia he's competing with in terms of "awful things people have done."

Asbel Lhant
A sweetheart who constantly offers to help Usagi and the White Rose Agency! In fact, now he works for her! Asbel always has a smile and a helpful hand for Usagi. She would love to get to know him better.

Asterios
HE'S SO BIG AND FLUFFY! A sweet "berserker" servant who is also learning all sorts about the world. She worries a bit for him since he seems like he hasn't had many positive memories or very many friends. But Usagi can fix that! Or try at the very least!

Princess Belle
Belle is a really sweet girl who clearly misses her family. Usagi wants to help as best she can and is in a unique position of doing so since she's been there for so long. She hopes she can help Belle come to like Verens and see that a new adventure can be had in the city.

Billy the Kid
The thief trying to steal her AND Mamoru! Most of their conversations are always about him stealing, but for all his talk, Usagi hasn't seen it. But who knows, maybe one day he really will kidnap her!... and then will have to deal with the senshi but it'd be good for a laugh.

Cloche Leythal Pastalia
Cloche is a really sweet girl that Usagi iiiinitially lied to because she wanted to meet Sailor Moon and Usagi hadn't revealed herself yet. However, Usagi wants to help Cloche anyways! (She's not sure Cloche knows Usagi is Sailor Moon, she might need to fix that?)

Danielle 'Dani' Phantom
Resident ghost expert. Usagi has gone to Dani for help regarding the fact that Empatheias ghosts seem to like her quite a bit.

Eikichi Mishina
They had a sort of rocky start since he accidentally allowed Usagi to be involved with his "blind date" picnic despite her asking him not to include her, but she likes him. Now she just participates in the blind dates to make new friends. He's got his own set of powers and they bond over that every now and then.

Fluttershy
Her new protege!?! Usagi met Fluttershy as Sailor Moon, and as Fluttershy is a magical girl in need of a teacher, Usagi volunteered. Usagi tries to help Fluttershy be more confident and braver. She certainly sees that the pink-haired girl has much more strength in her than she realizes.

Gundam Tanaka
Gundam is... weird. Just straight up weird and Usagi doesn't always know what to make of him or how. But, she can see the good in him, though he would insist otherwise. Hard to see or agree that someone is evil though when they save your life.

Hiro Hamada
A sweet and brilliant young man who Usagi can easily tell is lonely. She won't pry but she does worry for him. She adores his robot Baymax as well.

Izana Kunagiri
Machina's older brother and the more level-headed of the two Kunagiris. Izana has asked Usagi to help Machina and she's happy to do it. The older brother has also asked Usagi to basically smack sense into Machina whenever he does something a little too stupid.

Jasper of Heliodor
A very noble and honorable man! Usagi and he get along quite well, and are friends! She's not gotten to know him too well, but what she's seen, she's liked and he seems very nice.

Kairi
Sora's second most important person in existence. Usagi knew Kairi before actually meeting her but she's very happy to finally do so. Kairi is her newest ward in the house. But now that she's gotten to know Kairi, she adores her. She will do everything she can to protect her and keep her safe and guide her as best she can with her light. But Kairi has also helped Usagi out a lot as well.

Killua Zoldyck
A nice kid who insists Usagi has way too low of standards about friends (she does) and that he's way meaner than she thinks he is (he is). That said, Usagi does get along with him really well and considers him a friend.

Kiyohime
Kiyohime is another Servant. Usagi is trying her best to help her realize her dream of being wanted and being in a relationship. Uuunfortunately, Usagi has sorta been at ground zero of Kiyo's and her master's relationship. She tries to help as best she can. She hopes she can help, but some things are even her.

Kylo Ren
So Usagi and Kylo Ren did not make the greatest first impressions on one another... which is fine because they made way better second ones. Usagi is... slowly trying to be better friends with him? It's weird, let's leave it at that. She doesn't really understand much of anything going on with him.

The Luminary
A really nice gentleman who seems to be as important to his world as Usagi is to hers. They've talked a bit and she's happy to talk to him. He's nice! Usagi would like to get to know him better.

Machina Kunagiri
Machina made probably the second worst impression Usagi's ever come across in Verens, and that's because he attacked Sora and nearly killed him. He then refused to apologize and eventually Sailor Moon slapped him. Since then, though, they've become very close! Machina doesn't... quite know how to regard Usagi considering she's the equivalent of a goddess in his world and is torn between treating her with all the respect that deserves and the klutzy girl he's been friends with.

Marinette Dupain-Cheng (Ladybug)
Funny enough, neither Ladybug nor Sailor Moon have met the other's civilian identity, they have only met each other as superheroes. Though, Sailor Moon may or may not be helping Ladybug train? Well, sure, why not! She is always happy to have new apprentices and sparring partners.

Mercury Black
So Mercury started by lying to Usagi about being royalty. It kinda went down hill from there, Usagi doesn't know if he is or isn't a prince, she's just not impressed in general. Royalty does not nice make.

Merisia Thenel
Merisia likes to call Usagi "Flower girl" which suits her just fine. She also scolds her for trying to take on more than she can handle alone, only to then insist on helping until the job is done.

Mewtwo
Mewtwo, unknowingly, is drawn in to Usagi because of her deep connection to the moon. They've talked here and there and he's even seen some of her dreams and helped fight off a nightmare. The pokemon doesn't yet know about Usagi's connection to the moon and Usagi doesn't know he's drawn to her but once she knows, she'll explain why.

Naminé
A very sweet if shy and clearly troubled young girl. Usagi liked her instantly and vice versa. She has a past with Sora but Usagi will let her tell the tale at her own pace. Naminé has actually revealed quite a bit about herself and her powers, but Usagi will always protect her no matter what. She's taken on quite the big sister/mother position for Naminé. Even though Naminé is incredibly powerful, she still has a very gentle heart that is learning what it means to feel.

Princess Rapunzel
Rapunzel is her long-haired twin! The literal sun-drop to her moon stone. She loves the bright and cheerful princess, happy to talk to her and show her what she can. She knows Rapunzel is dealing with a lot and hopes to help make things cheerier. Rapunzel has been more than kind to paint several portaits for Usagi about her family.

Riku
Sora's most important person. Literally. It took a very long time for Usagi and Riku to have anything longer than a ten minute conversation. Usagi is still surprised when he comes to see her all on his own. They're... friends? Acquaintances? Mutual Sora fans? She honestly doesn't know. She would like to be his friend, and not just because he's important to Sora and dating said little brother but Usagi knows he's working through all sorts of stuff that he doesn't feel like he can trust her with, which she understands. She tries not to rush him.

Ritsuka Fujimaru
A sweetheart who seems to have a loooot on her plate regarding this whole "Master/Servant" thing. Usagi dislikes this Master/Servant thing the more she hears about it.

Rokurou Rangetsu
Sword lover and really good older brother figure/cool uncle. They have a lot of shared culture even though they're not from the same planet. Usagi doesn't always agree with his choices but they can always bond over food and stuff from home. She's also trying to teach him to fly with Dunamis.

Rose Quartz
Talk about fast friends! Usagi was trying to make more friends for Mamoru and wound up making a really fast and good friend out of Steven's mom, Rose Quartz. The two have a lot in common (way more than either realizes, to be honest).

Roxas
Roxas is a piece of Sora's heart, but that isn't the reason Usagi began to care and get to know the young man. She sees him as his own individual and worries over him. While he is more distant, she knows he's a kind boy. Usagi worries greatly over him, they seem to only really talk when things go wrong which Usagi would like to change.

Serah Farron
Serah is Lightning's little sister and just as pretty and awesome and powerful! She loves talking and helping out Serah. She planned Serah's wedding to Snow and helps as often as she can when Serah wants to do something to cheer everyone up.

Sheena Fujibayashi
A really nice ninja! Sheena has been super nice to Usagi every time they chat and always has a new food suggestion for Usagi to try. Sheena is very sweet and Usagi knows that she's able to take care of herself. Usagi is helping to plan Sheena's wedding! Not only did she help plan it, Usagi was Sheena's maid of honor! What an actual honor!

Sora
Her little brother from another mother. She and Sora clicked instantly upon meeting and have supported each other ever since. He doesn't even indulge her affection, they're equally affectionate with each other. He's one of the few to know everything about her outside of the senshi. She worries a bit over his recklessness and he worries about her tendency to bottle things. Usagi gave him a special keychain that makes his keyblade have some of her powers. She has also figured out the means of giving him wings.

Squall Leonhart
Usagi and Squall had a rocky start because Squall unknowingly was trying to hunt her down for a bounty, but since then he's given up on that and they have gotten closer. He's dating Sora now and she has appropriately warned him about messing with her little brother but nothing serious. They tend to tease one another since Squall think she's fun to tease and Usagi appreciates innocent payback. They have gotten much closer, though she worries for him every now and then.

Steven Universe is a really sweet kid, apparently he's a really big fan of Sailor Moon since she's a manga in his universe.

Vanitas
Vanitas is Ventus' darkness. Usagi more or less pities him but make no mistake, she will and has attacked him when he tries to get back at those she cares for and who are under her protection. She's not above killing him but has not done so. They tend to leave one another alone but Vanitas can't really stand her... then again he can't stand anyone. If he wanted it, however, she would offer him her hand to help him. First he has to want it.

Prince Vegeta
Oh Vegeta, you have no idea how bright, cheery, and powerful Usagi is. Which is fine. She's not scared or intimidated (or impressed) by his whole "Powerful Prince" schtick but she is trying to help him acclimate to Verens.

Velvet Crowe
Someone who insists she's beyond saving, a villain among her own self-describers. Buuuut Usagi doesn't really see it (well, she sees the whole "bad choices" thing, just not the irredeemable part). That said, Usagi knows Velvet takes care of Laphicet, she also knows Velvet, for all her "I'm evil and a villain" has done a lot to help save Empatheias. Plus she also trains Usagi in using a sword as well and feeds her like all the time.

Ventus
Ventus is one of the sweetest people she's ever met (who needs so much help with fashion). He's another person who has protected Sora's heart but Usagi has befriended him because he's just a sweetheart overall. He immediately sensed her light and has come to her on more than one occasion to help set up special things for his friends.

Webbigail "Webby" Vanderquack
An excitable and socially awkward little duckling that Usagi is helping become more socially adept. She's also helping Webby come out of the closet and realize her sexuality for her best friend.

Xion
Her newest ward who Usagi has sworn to protect. Much like Namine, Xion is very shy and unsure of herself. Usagi doesn't know her connection to Sora but will do what she can to help Xion experience the world and try new things. Usagi is actually trying to help Xion find more confidence in herself and is more than happy to show her how to use her light element in a different way. She and the other have bonded quite a bit since Xion's come to live with her.

Zamasu
Hooooooo boy. Talk about an egotistical, narcissitic, stubborn, deluded, self-righteous, divine pain in the ass. Usagi's dealt with ego but Zamasu wins the crown for "most egotisical asshole in every universe she's been in." Zamasu is a god who hates mortals and wants to quite literally destroy all of them across the entire universe in every universe. Usagi however, is trying her best to show him the good in mortals..... it's not really working. She's not above killing him though if he starts to get a little too kill-happy.

Princess Allura
She became friends with the princess instantly and has decided to show her how to experience the joy in little things. She has every intention of showing Allura how to have fun! Even princesses get to have that, after all. She was made aware of Allura's ever growing crush on her, but she looks to Allura for guidance when it comes to the more political aspects of being a princess. Allura is aware of most of Usagi's secrets regarding her abilities and past as well.

Anakin Skywalker
Admittedly, she first got to know Anakin so that he wouldn't kill Obi-Wan, but they became fast friends. She realized that he was just in a really dark place and needed a new perspective. She really likes talking to him and wants to see him come back to the light. They have become very close friends, constantly reminding him she does love him, even if he sometimes acts like a stubborn ass. She's helped him and Obi-Wan with several dates and romantic advice.

The daughter of Snow White, Usagi rescued her and is unaware of Apple's crush on her. She thinks Apple is incredibly sweet and just needs help realizing she doesn't need to be perfect. Unfortunately, Apple is incredibly focused on her "happy ending" despite Usagi (and many others) best efforts to make her see that it's more complicated than that.

A really pretty girl who helped Usagi! Usagi wants to get to know her better (and not just because she's pretty!) As Usagi has gotten to know Buffy more, she had the right idea. Buffy is kind, supportive, and has a fun sense of humor. She even gets some of the jokes Usagi makes too! Usagi is really glad to be friends with the older girl.

Chloe and Usagi have a lot in common as far as interests go. Usagi is glad Chloe agreed to be friends and tries her best to help Chloe out.

Edea and Usagi met when Edea wanted to do something special at the cultural festival. They're both big on celebrating other people. As it turns out, Edea is her soulmate regarding food. Edea can and does eat as much as Usagi does and together they will strike fear and terror into the hearts of all the "All you can eats!" MWAHAHAHAHA!

FINALLY SOMEONE ELSE WHO LOVES FASHION AS MUCH AS SHE DOES! Usagi and Evie bond heavily over fashion and design and shopping. She's just SO happy to have someone who can keep up with her when it comes to shopping sprees! Plus she's adorable and sweet and a really great cook! Who wouldn't want to be her friend?

Finn left and returned with no memory of being in Empatheias, but Usagi still remembers her friendship with the young man and is doing what she can to reforge that friendship with him.

Honey Lemon
If Usagi weren't in love with Mamoru, Honey Lemon would be her biggest crush. She's brilliant, sweet, friendly, gorgeous, and can cook. They got along instantly. Usagi found out that Honey and Hiro are not only from the same world, but were friends. Honey has assured Usagi that things get better for the boy-genius. Honey Lemon may or may not be aware of Usagi's girl crush.

Hunk
JUST ONE OF THE SWEETEST HUMAN BEINGS EVER! Hunk is her food buddy, he loves food as much as she does! He's also one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Usagi is aware that he is one of the Paladins of Voltron though he's just so sweet and she's never seen him near anything even remotely aggressive that it's hard for her to picture.

Jill Valentine
A really nice woman who she promises to help with shopping. Usagi is glad to know she can have a girl's day with her whenever she may need it. Jill has also come to her aid on more than one occasion, helping her out many times when Usagi's been hurt or ill.

John Laurens
A gentleman. John has helped Usagi with quite a bit since her arrival to the city. He has been very kind in helping her adjust to the city and being there at some of her more depressed moments. John is one of the few who she's shared some of her past with in game.

Katsuki "Suki-kun" Bakugou
Katsuki or "Suki-kun" as Usagi calls him, is basically the text book definition of "tsundere." Although Usagi does worry about his anger issues and his willingness to die over and over if it meant he would become stronger. She's also not all that impressed with how he views being a hero. That said, she's kind enough not to mention that she's aware of his crush on her.

Ken Murata
They became fast friends after only a few in-depth conversations. Neither Usagi nor Ken know they're both aspects of the moon. Though, without realizing it (again) Usagi revealed that she was royalty when she touched him (because apparently that is a really common power). She does like Ken, and always feels calmer in his presence. They both know each other's secrets regarding royalty and reincarnation.

Kunzite
So Kunzite is not a loved one (at least, not yet). He is to Mamoru what Minako is to Usagi, and Kunzite has been purified and awoken from Beryl's brainwashing. Usagi isn't quite sure how to handle him but she hopes they can become good friends and move past the whole... having been enemies and trying to kill one another thing. She's sure they can!

Leia Organa
Usagi greatly admires Leia, a princess, a skilled politician and just an awesome person all around. Usagi also has found out that Anakin is Leia's biological father. Leia doesn't know that Usagi is a space princess herself, but Usagi constantly tries to emulate Leia. When Leia says something, she definitely listens (well, most of the time).

Lelouch vi Britannia
Lelouch is a really handsome (although Usagi is biased for dark haired, incredibly tall, smart boys) boy who she talks to who has helped her out and vice versa. He sorta had to deal with her being super loopy and sentimental but thankfully he was considerate enough not to bring it up afterwards. She's gotten to be much better friends with him since.

Her precious Luna. Her guardian, advisor, one of her best friends, and the smartest pet cat in the whole wide solar system! Luna's arrival was a special balm on Usagi's soul becaue of her special and unique relationship with the little lunar black cat. Luna's prescence has already cheered up Usagi in a way no one else ever has (or likely can).

Luna is one of the prettiest, nicest, and just kindest people Usagi has had the pleasure of meeting! She's so elegant and Usagi is not ashamed to admit her girl crush on the other woman! Plus, what a great name.

Mabel is like pure sunshine and someone who has as much if not more enthusiasm than Usagi. Usagi adores her and is incredibly impressed with her craftiness. Mabel used to live with Usagi and the girls, a welcome rainbow in the house. Mabel left and has returned, not remembering Usagi and returning far more untrusting than before with her twin Dipper in tow.

Prince Noctis, Usagi was helping plan his wedding and was generally being his love guru until Lunafreya left. She and Noctis are on good friends regardless. He left and returned on more than one occassion, but they're finally back to being friends. She thinks it's cute how in love he is with Luna.

Obi-Wan Kenobi
A really nice older gentleman. Usagi feels calm almost instantly when she talks to him. But he seems very kind and incredibly wise! He reminds Usagi of a monk. He was also the one to finally convince Usagi to become the representative for Elios. She gets along with him really well and enjoys just being around him. Everything about him calms her down and is soothing. She's revealed her secret regarding her powers to help heal him but know it's safe with him. Usagi on more than one occasion has helped him with dates with Anakin.

Red
Red is a pokemon trainer and he's constantly showing Usagi his amazing pokemon. They love sharing the animals of each other's world. Red has deemed Usagi to be a "wigglytuff" (after some minor tickling on Usagi's part to make him change his answer). If Usagi or Red want to explore the planet, both tend to be on the other's short list of people to ask.

Rei Hino
Her goddess of fire, passion and war. Another one of her best friends. Rei is the cutting voice of reason who can provide the facts or a slap across the face if necessary. Usagi trusts her and knows that Rei will never lie to her, she depends on Rei to always tell the truth. Rei also is someone she goes to for sound advice just like Minako.

Setsuna Meiou
Her goddess of time and revolution. While not a best friend, Setsuna is still very much a precious person to Usagi. Setsuna is a gentle and calm voice. She has experience and can guide Usagi in a way none of the other girls can due to her age and knowledge. While closer to Chibiusa than Usagi, Setsuna has never spurned Usagi's affection either.

King Shinou
Usagi and Shinou became very fast friends, though he flusters her quite a bit considering all the compliments and flirting he does with her. Despite being told he's a royal pain, he's been nothing but sweet to her so she just can't see it. Shinou has officially become Usagi's "big brother" and he takes the title very seriously, so does she. She cares deeply for Shinou and knows she can depend on him, though he doesn't know all of her secrets like Ken or Sora.

Steve Rogers
Steve Rogers and she bonded over food and became quick friends as far as Usagi is concerned. He's super sweet and while he doesn't know she's also Sailor Moon, he's shown her nothing but respect in both forms.

Suzaku Kururugi
Suzaku-kun or "Suzu-kun" as Usagi has come to call him. He is clearly conflicted and she isn't entirely sure why but she offers a listening ear and as much help as Suzaku is willing to listen to and take. She knows that he worries about happiness and allowing himself to be happy as well as forgiveness. Still, she hopes he comes to understand he's deserving of happiness and love.

Toshinori "All Might" Yagi
Usagi and Yagi have a unique relationship in that Usagi healed him completely upon their very first meeting returning him to perfect health after he had spent years deeply injured. So yeah, they have a very unique relationship. Still, she likes to think of him as a friend, having weirdly befriended him and several of his students without knowing it.

If Utena wasn't 14, Usagi would be crushing hard on the little noble prince. Utena is a very sweet girl who Usagi wants to help. She gets a lot of "Haruka" vibes from Utena and is very glad for them.

Warrior of Light
"Light" for short and to be more personal. The warrior of light instantly sensed Usagi's light and mistook her for his Cosmos. Regardless, Light has sworn to protect Usagi and keep her light from ever being dampened.
