[On July 1st, Mai leaves a message in your inbox that has a little image attached to it. It reads that you are invited to her and Ryuji's birthday on the 3rd! No need to RSVP, feel free to bring friends!]

((OOC: No pressure to come, just she would invite Usagi!))

[ Minako just happens to be seeing Demande's network post while she's out, rather than at home. And while she could wait to talk to Usagi until she's back, Minako doesn't want to risk it. Not with that guy somewhere out here in this place.

So she calls Usagi right away. ]

Usagi, are you okay?

[ Sorry for the lack of context, friend, hearing Demande just makes her instantly very worried about you!! No time for context!! ]

[Actually, no she's not, how good and smart of Minako to check on her. Even Setsuna's arrival is not enough to trade off that Demande of all people, is here.]

Of all our enemies, it had to be HIM! I'm fighting every urger in my body to just murder him over and over and over until he learns to leave me alone, but somehow it's likely just to make him more obsessed. But warning everyone about him... [She'd have to talk about what he did. About the kidnapping and... more.] And since he hasn't actually DONE anything here... yet, besides being just his usual obnoxious creepy self, so everyone might think I'm overreacting or he might try and insist I'm accusing him without any proof.

[She sighs and rubs her eyes.] I hate him, Mina-chan. I hate him.

I don't want to have to keep an eye on him. [She'd love to punch him so hard in his face she knocks out several teeth.]

[ .. yeah. That reaction is no surprise, huh. Minako really can't blame her friend for any of it. It makes her feel a little relieved that she bothered to reach out to Usagi at all, though her heart at the same time painfully squeezes with sympathy for Usagi's plight. ]

Where are you right now? Are you at home? I'll come see you, just let me know where you are.

[ Because even if Usagi can defend herself - and Minako is well aware of it - she still feels too antsy not being by Usagi's side while Demande is here in this place. It's definitely the protective streak in the girl playing up. ]

And you don't have to keep an eye on you if you don't want. I'll get Makoto to do that together with me. You can rely on us. [ Because Usagi shouldn't have to be the one to do the job when she's actively traumatized by him. No way. Minako would gladly pick up the slack if it means that Usagi is protected from having to do any of that. ]

I'm at home, yeah. I'm in my room. [Because it's safe there and she doesn't have to keep an eye on anything other than a door and a window. Her bed is warm and her blankets are soft.]

What if he finds out where we live, Mina-chan? I know I can deal with him and everything he does, but I don't want to. I wanted to be past him.

[ Alright. So home it is. The moment she hears Usagi say she's there, Minako is already turning around and heading in the direction of their house right away. She really doesn't want to leave her friend alone right now - not so soon after the discovery that this is the situation they're going to have to deal with now. ]

I will try to find some way to keep him away from our house. There has to be something here that can help.

[ Just so it doesn't have to be Usagi's own powers and attacks that keep him away. Minako doesn't want her to have to be responsible for that. But there's so much magic in this place, so many different powers-- ]

One of my friends might have a warding spell. I'll ask around. [ In fact, with the multi-tasker Minako is - a born workaholic - she's already texting someone as she walks and talks to Usagi over her relic, all at the same time. ] We'll keep that absolute creep out of your life, no matter what we have to do for it. You know that Makoto and I would practically be fighting over who'd get to punch him first if he put his gross hands on you for even a second!

I wish Rei-chan was here, she'd have like a dozen wards I bet he could never break through...

[She wished Rei was here anyway, she missed the gorgeous shrine maiden. She missed all the girls. She has only gotten to be with them for a couple of days before coming here.]

I suppose killing him again won't work? No, of course, that would be too easy. [She sighs and lets out a long breath.]

I know as our Eternal forms he can't do the same harm, but I just keep remembering all the sisters kidnapping Rei, Ami, and Makoto. I keep remembering Wiseman stealing away Chibiusa and Mamoru going after her.

He caused so much pain and damage and then has the audacity to blame everything on me. It makes me so tired.

.. At least he's here alone.

[ There's not much Minako can reassure Usagi with. This situation does just suck, no matter which way you turn it.

But she does know this much is true, and Usagi's own words only further remind her of this fact. ]

He doesn't have the sisters here. And not Wiseman either. It's just him, and I don't imagine he's going to endear anyone to him any time soon with the way he acts. [ And if he does-- Well, Minako doesn't mind setting up some social sabotage, if needed.

Usagi doesn't have to know that though. ]

And you're not alone.

No... they aren't here. And if Wiseman DOES show up... [She inhales.] I'm not sure what I'll do.

[She rubs her eyes.]

No, I'm not alone... I have you, Makoto, and Setsuna. [She takes another deep breath.] And I'm not the anxious little girl he fought back then. And it's not just us. There are others who won't tolerate his nonsense, either.

[But then, there might also be those who believed him, who took him at his word about her being a terrible queen...] Mina-chan... did other me ever mention... Serenity?

[ There's a quick shake of her head at the question. ]

The other Usagi.. She had been here in this place for longer than I have. She was already here when I first showed up. [ Minako starts her explanation. It's a little bit of pre-amble that doesn't necessarily give an answer to the other's question, but she feels like providing this information might make the next part more reassuring in a sense. ] She told me that she had been purposefully keeping her identity a total secret here, just in case something like this would happen. That's why I started doing the same thing.

[ Minako would lie about anything as long as it would keep Usagi safe, after all. It's always been how this worked. ]

There's no one here who knows that you are Serenity, other than us.

... Actually... That might... not be true.

[Usagi hadn't thought to mention it until now just because they had both promised...]

There are people here, from... another world and apparently they knew ANOTHER Usagi, an Usagi who told them about being Sailor Moon, and I didn't think to ask but... they might know about Serenity as well. I mean, unless there's... a world out there where a Usagi isn't the reincarnated Serenity. [How nice must THAT be?]

Darth Maul and Luke Skywalker, have you met them or heard of them? Because they definitely knew me.

...

[ There's a pause on Minako's end, but there's a little gasp that's saying everything before she even uses a single word. ]

Wait, they know? [ She only has spoken to one of those two names, but-- It sounds like it's relatively alarming news to Minako, considering the girl clicks her tongue in a way that kind of sounds like she disapproves of something. ]

I had no idea. That could turn into a really big problem. But both of them told you that they knew?

I've finished the gift for Minako's birthday. Would like for me to wrap it, or do you want to pick it up and wrap it yourself?
