History: Usagi Tsukino and Sailor Moon and Plot synopsis of Sailor Moon

Personality:
Nobody likes a self-proclaimed crybaby, especially a crybaby who is klutzy, lazy, procrastinates, is always late to school and functions, spends all their time reading manga or playing video games, has a bottomless pit for a stomach to the point of eating everyone else’s food, and then whines about their own self-induced failures. Except, maybe, if that klutzy and lazy crybaby might be Usagi Tsukino.

Meeting Usagi Tsukino is like meeting pure sunshine. She’s bright and bubbly and endeavors to make friends with everyone she meets. She tends to succeed in her endeavors as well. She’s willing to offer them support and stand by them almost instantaneously. Even if she’s only known someone for an hour, she’ll compliment them and cheer them on sincerely, and she’ll find their abilities and goals amazing without jealousy or without being disingenuous. Her bright attitude on life and openness makes it easy for her to befriend people. She never turns away a new friend, nor does she let the opinion of others really stand in the way of her making friends. Is someone rumored to be a snob like the girl genius of Japan? Is someone rumored to be creepy like the dazzling miko at the shrine? Or how about violent like the incredibly tall new transfer student? Usagi won’t listen and will go up to them without any hesitance, asking if they want to spend time together and extending a hand in friendship. People who get to know Usagi get exactly what she presents herself to be. Usagi never goes into a relationship seeking a personal gain, always honest in her intentions and feelings.

Usagi is always open about her emotions, feeling everything strongly and being vocal about that feeling. When she’s unmotivated? She would rather procrastinate and goof off. She’ll spend all night reading manga, playing video games, or just napping and then will cry when she does poorly on a test or gets scolded for her bad grades. She knows why she did poorly, but she has little desire to break her habits to do better, usually needing outside encouragement (or in some cases, threats) to do better in school. She’ll cry, she’ll whine, she’ll kick doors and stomp on things, but so long as no one gets hurt, she’ll allow herself the chance to be upset so she can get over it. When she’s excited? She’ll spend hours (even days) focusing on it and seeing it through. Does she have a crush? She’ll blush and stutter and become an even bigger klutz. In fact, Usagi usually encourages everyone to be vocal about their feelings, not caring about society’s expectations to keep a level-head and reserved emotions in public. Whatever Usagi is feeling, you can be sure everyone is going to know about it.

However, Usagi’s emotions are also her strength. She feels everything deeply and for others so greatly that their emotions easily become her own. She's not a true empath, but she is as close as possible to it. When they are upset, so is she, when they are in pain, she shares it, and their joy is her joy. She’ll never hold back on her emotions with perhaps one exception. When Usagi knows someone depends on her and is relying on her to be strong, she’ll hide how she’s struggling or feeling to try and keep them happy and be a pillar of strength for them. She tends to share her concerns later on with loved ones, but sometimes even they aren’t told how she’s hurting for the sake of everyone staying positive. However, her honesty and openness tends to make it very easy to tell when she’s hiding how she actually feels.

Considering her crybaby habits, her friendliness, and her general lack of any grace, the last thing anyone would think about Usagi is that she’s a skilled guardian, protecting people and all of the earth from great evils. But the truth is, Usagi is also Sailor Moon, champion of love and justice who fights to keep everyone safe on earth. She’s faced countless enemies and monsters, sometimes with screams of fear, but mostly with resolution to see them punished for their crimes. She does this with the very emotions she’s mocked for feeling. Usagi will do everything within her power, even sacrifice her own life to protect her loved ones and her precious Earth. She’s gone through watching her loved ones die, her loved ones and herself getting kidnapped, friends and family turned against her, and has even watched many try to destroy her home and try and kill her. Despite all this, even though Usagi is able to fight an enemy, in truth, she rather reach a peaceful compromise through words and understanding, hoping that she can make them understand rather than need to fight by holding out her hand to them. Usagi won’t even hesitate to sacrifice her own life it means just one life will be saved. It is her greatest power, the ability to sacrifice herself and releasing her powers with that act, to protect everyone. Usagi’s greatest wish is to protect the earth with her loved ones by her side. She will never let them get hurt if she can help it. She’ll never lose hope or belief in her friends that, together, they can set things right. Even if she may not always believe in herself, she knows that her friends believe in her, and with that belief she can push forward and keep going even when alone.

In fact, Usagi’s greatest fear is being alone and not being able to protect all her loved ones. When her loved ones are hurt and the enemy blames her for their harm, it will cut deep. She has great moments of self-doubt and concern about whether what she does and who she is really does cause her friends and loved ones problems. She would place the whole weight of the world on her shoulders if her friends let her. She is a bit of a hypocrite, in that regard, as she’ll take on all her friend’s problems while trying to stop them from doing the same for her. Usagi does her best when it comes to facing her fears and doubts, knowing that too many people rely on her and her abilities to let herself fall prey to her own fears. When everything looks bleak, Usagi will use her inner strength and shine bright like the figurative sunshine she is and face the issues ahead of her, she does so with such assurance, that she’s impossible to beat.

While Usagi still has a lot of crybaby moments and immature actions, she’s grown up a good deal. She had to. Yes, she still eats like a pig and naps all day if she can, but she also knows that the protection of earth is on her. The way she handles her relationships has also been a growing process. When she first fell in love with her significant other, Mamoru, she was possessive of him like a child might be. She didn’t want to share his affection or his attention, not even with her own daughter (though she didn’t know it was her daughter at the time). However, as she grew and became more mature, she was not only able to be less possessive, but she could be far more inclusive. She would understand why someone might need support and she would seek to help them and understand them as best she could. When she was younger, she would act rashly and say harsh things, only to regret it instantly and wish she had been kinder or acted more mature. Now that she is older, those things happen far less and usually only under pressure, as she had to mature quickly in the face of so many enemies. Usagi still has her moments of selfishness in both general terms and with Mamoru, but they’re more out of playfulness and desire for attention from her friends rather than sincere selfishness.

While Usagi is able to reach out to nearly everyone and anyone, even to an enemy if she sees how lonely they are, there are some things Usagi simply can’t forgive. She can’t stand people manipulating and controlling others or harming others for their own gain. Nothing disgusts Usagi more than distorting love and truth for personal benefit and gain, using others to get what they want and not caring about who they hurt like with how Wiseman twisted Chibiusa's concerns and fears to make her Wicked Lady. She’ll fight tooth and nail to set things right. While Usagi can understand selfishness, even having her own selfish moments, she can’t accept the extremes of selfishness that others might be willing to take like Prince Demande trying to destroy the past all for the sake of his selfishness. While she may detest those who would manipulate and harm others, Usagi understands the balance of it as well. She understands the love and the hate, the chaos and the order. She understands their loneliness and how they’re drawn to her because of that loneliness. She is the light and the darkness seeks her out because one cannot exist without the other. Usagi knows that there must be a balance and that if she can penetrate with love and light, then chaos can consume with hate and darkness. It doesn’t make her hate darkness, truly, she doesn’t actually hate anyone, but she cannot abide by them using and abusing others despite their loneliness.

Usagi seeks, as best she can, to love everyone. For she has seen just what those who are turned away, being forgotten, or unloved can do to someone like with her own daughter, Chibiusa, Nehelenia, Galaxia, and even Chaos itself. Usagi will do everything within her power to hold out her hand to someone, even if it may cause harm to herself. However, if it means she can undo the damage of not being loved has done to someone, she’ll do it without a moment of hesitation. She’s the guardian of light and love, and champion of both.

Being the champion of love and justice sounds like it would be a full-time gig, however, Usagi seems to balance her duties as a guardian and being a teenager quite well. Usagi always makes time for her friends and loved ones, as well as her hobbies. She’ll still eat her favorite foods with fervor, play video games, go on frequent dates with her significant other, read manga, and hang out with friends as much as possible. She knows how important it is to still be a teenager and have fun before taking on the role as eventual queen of earth and guardian of the solar system. While that might make her sound carefree, it’s more that she just understands how precious her chances to still have fun are. It’s easy to say that Usagi believes in the philosophy "you must have fun where you find it and where it finds you."

The little moments of fun, of times together with her loved ones, and the future she wants to build is how Usagi can maintain hope for the future. No matter what, she’ll never lose it, even in the face of utter desolation, she will encourage hope in herself and in others, she will hold out her hand. Usagi believes in hope and others believe in the hope Usagi has for the future. She is the light in the darkness. She is the guardian of hope and rebirth.

Abilities/Powers/Weaknesses & Warping:
Abilities:
Speed: Usagi, while not the fastest of the senshi, is actually very quick and able to be incredibly fast both in and outside of being a senshi. Since she's late pretty much DAILY, she's constantly running which has caused her to get pretty good at it.

Voracious Appetite: Usagi can figuratively eat anything and has a massive appetite. To some degree, she's replacing energy taken by using her powers, but that is a very small part. Usagi just really loves food.

Empathically Linked: Usagi is neither psychic nor an empath, however, she can share visions and emotions with those who carry a Sailor Crystal and also sense people who carry them if she is close to them. For example, with Rei and Mamoru, who are empathic and psychic she can share those visions with them if she is in the vicinity of them, usually while she is asleep around Rei, and with Mamoru she can do it much more than with Rei and does not need to be asleep to share a vision or emotion with him. With the senshi, she can sense where they are and locate them, just like when Ami, Rei, and Makoto are deep within the planet Nemesis while she was on the surface. To some degree, she can also sense intent and desire. She does this with Neptune, Uranus, and the Starlights throughout the series. Because she could sense their true intent and what they felt about important matters, she was much quicker to initially extend trust to them than the other senshi. Usagi is able to do this both in and out of senshi form although she has the strongest empathic link with Mamoru. The link itself may or may not get stronger the more physically affectionate she is with a person.

Eternal Sailor Moon Abilities:
Physical Abilities: Once transformed into a senshi, she has nearly inexhaustible energy. Additionally, she has heightened physical abilities such as running, jumping, fighting, endurance, and strength. Of all the senshi, Sailor Moon is probably able to endure the worst physical attacks because of her crystal's ability to heal her so quickly and sheer pure will, not because she is actually physically stronger than the other senshi. She is also the second-fastest of the senshi, being the only one able to keep up with Sailor Uranus who is the fastest of all the senshi. Usagi is easily able to carry and hold people several times her weight as a senshi. She can also breathe and exist in space without protection and survive the vacuum of space without a spacesuit, additionally, she's able to withstand extreme temperatures and being underwater. When in the Arctic circle in a mini-skirt, Sailor Moon is incapable of being affected by the cold and things like hypothermia are not possible.

Magical glamor: As a senshi, she cannot be recognized by anyone as Usagi unless she tells them or they catch her transforming. Her own father can't even recognize a physical picture of her as Sailor Moon despite being side-by-side. There's magic that protects her identity. Unless a character is able to read souls, energies, or has something that can see through glamors, they are unable to connect Usagi to being Sailor Moon without her telling them.

Flight: All senshi are capable of summoning wings for flight and levitation separate from their wings, but in addition to this, Eternal Sailor Moon has two sets of wings. Her first set of wings are connected to her uniform that are essentially for decoration, but they can disappear and be replaced by real wings, her second set. Eternal Sailor Moon's wings are physically a part of her. If they are destroyed, it takes her a while to regenerate them. She can even summon her wings outside of her senshi form if she's under great duress but she's only done this once. With her wings, Sailor Moon can actually fly at super speeds, able to travel across the galaxy and all over the planet. This, of course, will not be the case in game as she will not be able to leave even with her wings. While flying, she can carry others while flying however it's only one person.

Disguise Pen: While not an ability, the Disguise Pen was given to Usagi by Luna so she could disguise herself in order to complete missions more easily. While she looks like the person she wants to be, she also apparently gains the knowledge of whoever she changes into (though this is debatable since she rarely is seen using said knowledge). She is completely undetectable unless someone watches her transform or has the ability to see through illusions.

Supersonic Waves: This is an involuntary attack used only twice in the early days of being Sailor Moon, and only when Sailor Moon had no other way to protect herself. In order to perform this attack, she has to panic and start crying and her odango covers will amplify her wailing until it becomes physically painful for enemies. She has never used this since becoming Eternal Sailor Moon, but she could easily use it again if pushed into a corner and without any means to protect herself and panicked again.

Sailor Senshi Transport: When combined with the senshi, she is able to transport across incredibly wide distances such as from the Earth to the Moon in a matter of minutes. This requires at least four of the senshi besides herself to accomplish a transport but in the off chance it can occur in the game, they still would not be able to leave.

Power Transfer: Sailor Moon is also able to transfer some of her power to others. She can't really control how much and for her to do it, the one receiving the powers need to have powers of their own in some way for it to work, she is not able to give powers to those who do not have any. But, Usagi is also something of a conduit/siphon, she is very easily able to receive the powers of others and does so pretty much since day one as Sailor Moon when Tuxedo Mask lends her some of his powers to cleanse and heal a whole mass of people. She continues doing this throughout the series. Whatever powers she receives she immediately amplifies with her own. However, her body IS capable of being overwhelmed with the power causing her to either faint or, depending on how much she gets, cause her crystal to break and kill her/cause her to snap in half out of existence.

Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss: Is an extremely powerful moonlight-based attack performed by Eternal Sailor Moon and is the third most powerful attack but tends to be the attack she uses the most as Eternal Sailor Moon. It is able to heal and be used offensively and defensively. It creates a beam of light that is unstoppable until it hits something or forms a barrier of light that can surround a medium-sized area. To use as an attack, she uses the Eternal Tiare/Staff which can be summoned by her at any time as Sailor Moon and she can make it disappear when she pleases and calls out the full name of the attack. When she uses it as defense, she needs only to use her Tiare as a conduit and it will create the barrier.

Starlight Honeymoon Double Therapy Kiss: Is a combination attack performed by Eternal Sailor Moon and Eternal Sailor Chibi Moon. It functions the same as the Honeymoon Therapy Kiss only magnified as it is performed by both Sailor Moon and Chibi Moon. It also uses the Eternal Tiare to form the attack. Unlike Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss, however, it cannot heal people or create a barrier, it can only be used offensively.

Silver Moon Crystal Power Therapy Kiss: This is a supremely powerful light attack. It is even more powerful than the Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss and is the second most powerful attack in Sailor Moon's arsenal. Just like the Starlight version, it creates an unstoppable beam or cascade of light that can both destroy and protect against an enemy. It can also do massive amounts of healing on people and the planet itself. Both the Starlight and Silver Moon Therapy Kiss require the Eternal Tiare to work.

Silver Moon Crystal Eternal Power || Lambda Power: This is Eternal Sailor Moon's most powerful attack. But to use it will literally snap her apart and kill her each and every time she uses it (until she becomes Sailor Cosmos). It gathers the power of every single senshi in the entire universe and she can then use that power, using her body and crystal as a conduit. It is also called the "Lambda" power. When her body snaps, it releases the ultimate universal Lambda Power, and that power is strong enough to recreate and rebirth an entire galaxy worth of Sailor Crystals and planets. This power will be completely GONE in the game not only because of its power but because of how the power itself has to be gathered. The Silver Moon Crystal Eternal Power strips Sailor Moon completely, leaving her only her wings and her crystal.

Healing: While Sailor Moon is able to heal using the Eternal Tiare, she is also able to heal even without any weapon because of the Ginzuishou. The Ginzuishou or Silver Crystal, possesses tremendous power, and is possibly the single most powerful magical artifact in the entire cosmos of the Sailor Moon universe. It can only be wielded properly by Usagi (though Chibiusa has used it to a much more mild degree and it used to be wielded by her mother, Queen Serenity, though nowhere near the extent that Usagi is able to do so currently). It focuses on the vital life energy and heart of Usagi. Depending on the clarity of her emotions and desires, it can essentially perform miracles. The crystal is said to be "limitless" and the power is neutral as it is the decision of the wielder on how to use it. It is literally capable of destroying a planet in a matter of seconds or restoring it and healing it.

However, the strain of using such power will cause massive fatigue and even death, as the power actually derives from the life force of Usagi herself. While many have tried to take the ginzuishou from her, only a member of the Moon Kingdom dynasty can actually use it and only with emotional maturity. While she can heal a planet or destroy it, Usagi cannot handle that amount of power without repercussions on her body or energy. While the act of destruction with the Ginzuishou is infinitely easier, it is not in Usagi's nature to use it in that way.

With regards to healing, the ginzuishou is canonly able to bring life to the dead (which it does for Usagi multiple times as well as other people, creatures, and plants) cure disease, replace limbs and restore sight to the blind to name just a few of the things it can heal on people. It can restore buildings and nature as well. If she pushes herself, she can heal an entire planet however this will not be the case in the game for obvious reasons. It is also a tiny bit sentient as it can act before Usagi can or will protect herself or while she is unconscious. The ginzuishou has encased Usagi completely to heal her in the battle against Metalia, and it did it again when she was attacked by Prince Demande as Neo-Queen Serenity.

Purification: While usually attached to her act of healing, Usagi's ability to purify objects, locations, and people is separate from her ability to heal them. This is done with light surrounding the object/location/creature and is painless (unless attached to an attack) for the one being purified. Purification is usually attached to her Therapy Kisses or has been attached to more minor attacks but she is capable of performing purification on its own as she does with the Amazon Quartet after they had been corrupted by Nehellenia. She usually uses purification when someone is being controlled by an enemy and so she has to separate the victim from the thing possessing them.

Immortality: The ginzuishou grants Usagi immortality in the sense that it grants her the ability to reincarnate with all her memories even if her body is destroyed. So long as the crystal is intact, she can be revived. Eventually it will grant her full immortality and she won't be able to die regardless of injury.

The crystal can also grant longevity up to a thousand years to others touched by its abilities who don't already possess a Sailor Crystal. This is exactly what it will do in the future, in fact, when Usagi will eventually become the queen of Earth. However, while the crystal may grant Usagi immortality, it is connected to Usagi and is a literal "crystal heart" of sorts. She can summon it to appear in front of her if she doesn't have it on her, but otherwise, she carries it on her person at all times

Barrier: In addition to healing, Usagi can tap into the ginzuishou to protect and shield with light and love. She does this against Wiseman, protecting an entire palace by herself with the light of the crystal. This is a wordless ability and it is achieved by her will and desire to protect. The more emotionally mature Usagi becomes, the more control she has with the crystal. The ginzuishou can also create a castle that is able to withstand bombs and magical attacks. So... there's that. However, when in this state, she cannot do anything in retaliation nor can she protect herself and then it becomes a "who will run out of energy first?" kind of thing.

Weaknesses:
Linked to her crystal: The biggest weakness that Usagi has is that her crystal is limitless and has near inexhaustible energy but Usagi herself does not. She can and does, frequently, give up every ounce of her energy to save or protect someone or something until she faints or it kills her. In addition to not always having enough energy, Usagi's crystal is her "heart." So long as its around she can be immortal/reincarnated, but its destruction will cause her instant death and having it ripped away from her while she's using it will knock her unconscious without so much as a fight from her and leave her that way until the crystal is returned to her person.

Emotional Maturity: Usagi has to be clear in her intent and desires, or the ginzuishou itself will not work, refusing to do something that her heart is not clear about. Her heart has to be, somewhat literally, "in it" for anything to happen. This is not a problem unless Usagi is forced to fight her loved ones like when she has to fight the Outer Senshi or when all the senshi are under Galaxia's control. If she doesn't have the desire to do something with her powers then her powers essentially obey.

Warps:
Healing Others: So, the BIGGEST thing that will be changed is Usagi's ability to heal. Once her greatest ability, it is now going to be her biggest detriment. Where before she was able to heal, giving away her energy to restore people and things, she will now be a massive siphon; taking from people, plants, and even buildings, killing or deteriorating them in the process. She will become one of the things she pretty much fears most by hurting people. While Usagi can still heal HERSELF, she won't be able to heal others. This ability will be separate from her purification abilities.

Healing herself: Usagi had a rather fast healing ability as a senshi (one of the fastest as it's her second-biggest ability), while she can still heal faster than a regular person this has been slowed down to take a few days or weeks. Her crystal will be "hyper-attentive" to more fatal wounds and part of her will be crystallized while it heals. So if she has a broken arm, rather than a cast, her arm will be immobilized by the silver crystal instead to heal her.

Purification: While Usagi will still be able to purify things, what was once a painless act will now, in fact, burn as she encases someone in the purifying light until all the impurities, curse, etc. is broken/gone.

Unreliable power levels: Usagi is the most powerful magically of the senshi and has a tight control on those levels because otherwise there is a serious issue if she doesn't. That will now be gone and her attacks can go from minor to catastrophic against someone with no telling when or what will be the case. If she gives her power to someone else, she could very easily overwhelm them now and kill them, which further taps into her biggest fears.

Inventory:
1. Her ginzuishou (which is her literal heart, so not sure if this needs an inventory slot)
2. High school uniform with a heart-shaped brooch and dozens of bobby pins
3. Her Lunar Disguise Pen
4. A school bag with things like her favorite bunny pen, cute stationary, and a notebook inside of it.
5. Her favorite hairbrush
6. Volume 1 of a manga

Are you comfortable with prominent elements of fourth-walling?: Yes, I have no issue with a character immediately knowing who Usagi is inwardly but not just going "OH WOW YOU'RE FROM THE ANIME SAILOR MOON!"
What themes of horror/psychological thrillers do you enjoy the most?: Usagi, canonly, never gets to REALLY sit and focus on what she's been through because there's no real time for it, so I think it would be nice to explore that aspect of her life. Personally, I prefer psychological horrors and vampire/werewolf/other monsters kind of horror. I also like horror musicals like "Sweeny Todd" or horror comedies like "Shaun of the Dead" and "Dale and Tucker vs. Evil" where the horror is more a vehicle for the story than the focus.
Is there anything, in particular, you absolutely need specific content warnings for?: N/A
Additional Information: I know Usagi is very OP and if she needs even further dampening or warping I completely understand.
